Gardening Club

The Gardening Club is a standing committee of News Futures stewards that is tasked with helping define, garner input, and forward organizational strategy. 

The Gardening Club will be made up of 4-6 News Futures stewards in good standing, elected by stewards in an election year, as defined by the News Futures decision-making matrix. The Gardening Club convenes for two year, staggered terms, working in collaboration with News Futures’ Executive Steward. This cadence is designed to balance continuity with our group’s desire to bring more stewards into roles of governance.

Gardening Club stewards will not lead News Futures working groups concurrent with their Gardening Club term.
