How might we elevate examples of civic media being practiced by individuals and organizations in communities? We will help translate the News Futures Charter into an accessible, growing set of living examples (like a cookbook) for others to learn from, grow and advance civic information / civic health.

Looking for contributors who want to: 

  • Share successful, repeatable examples of “recipes” for generating or distributing civic information

  • Organize information into structured data 

  • Connect to or have an interest in non-journalists who are creating civic information, and whose examples can also populate this resource (journalists are not the only ones creating civic info) 

  • Help translate theories of change for these examples to nest under
