2. Sign the News Futures charter: Begin by endorsing our charter, committing to our shared values. Signing on is the first step to joining the community.

3. Join a Working Group: After signing the charter, you can participate in any active News Futures working group with available capacity. That's the best way to start contributing directly to our projects and initiatives.

4. Become a Steward: To take on a leadership role at News Futures, build a track record within a working group and apply to lead one. Stewardship is reviewed by our Gardening Club and staff, allowing you to help steer News Futures' growth.
